Tinton Falls, New Jersey (July 22, 2011) – Doubletree Hotel announced today that it is extending its collection of canned goods and toiletries until August 12 for Lunch Break, a local non-profit soup kitchen and food bank that serves the Monmouth County area.
“We donated time and helped them serve lunch to the less privileged, as well as on occasion donated our meeting space for their gatherings,” says Cathy Coanda, Director of Sales at Doubletree. “With all the success of collecting these items, we wanted to extend our offer to August so that we can continue to develop our relationship with the community. We are proud to be a part of the community and giving back is one of the best ways of getting involved.”
Along with these community partners, includes MITRE Corporation who also participates during the spirit of giving.
All donors and community members are encouraged to bring boxes of canned goods and toiletries to the Doubletree lobby and receive free cookies and milk, in honor of the spirit of giving.
