Lakewood, NJ – A 110-room Hilton Garden Inn has opened on Route 70, adding a bit of luxury to the township.

“We look forward to welcoming all travelers to the Hilton Garden Inn Lakewood, as we are perfectly situated near many local attractions and businesses,” said Doran Tajfel, co-president of Hotels Unlimited, the hotel’s operator.

Located at 1885 Route 70 West, just off Exit 88 of the Garden State Parkway, the hotel is the most recent addition to the new shopping district that includes Houlihan’s, Ruby Tuesday’s and Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants, a Starbucks, and a Costco store.

The rooms feature firmness-adjustable beds, ergonomic chairs, flat-screen televisions and Wi-Fi Internet. Other hotel features include the Great American Grill restaurant, a 24-hour Pavilion Pantry, 2,125 square feet of meeting rooms and a workout gym. The hotel is entirely smoke-free.

A grand opening was celebrated Nov. 12.

“Opening our newest Hilton Garden Inn in Lakewood, New Jersey, shows how our brand complements growing communities looking for an upscale mid-priced lodging option for both business and leisure travelers,” Adrian Kurre, the hotel’s senior vice president of brand management, said in a statement.
